Oh god. I'm so sorry people who enjoy A Short Time Ago.
I brought back Britland City over at SheezyArt and thus got addicted to drawing Teagirl and co. again.
And then...then came Coffeeboy's redesign, and his and Teagirl's "eye catch", spawned by another friend's eyecatch styled picture of his villain, Red Bull.
Oh yeah. I'm getting better at using Copics - but not quite.
My computer doodles are bad when it comes to anatomy - I haven't quite gotten used to the tablet again - something that needs to be changed soon.
Before I begin, here's something I did earlier:
Today kinda marks the first day that I feel all geared up for revision, or I would, if I didn't have coursework and admissions to worry about. Well, for the coursework, it's not so much worry, but more like 'hurry up and write that blooming analysis' and 'you might want to put this here, and change that', so it's kinda small things that I have to do. As for admissions, the stress might go once I hear back from Oxford.
I recently stayed at one of the colleges in Oxford, due to the interview period, and I must say, I have never felt so sad to leave as I did during that period of time. I met such a lovely bunch of people whilst I was there, and I had such a great time, even when I felt a little...ignored...I guess. I did feel a little overshadowed by others, but I say it's all down to the differences between people in the time it takes to get comfortable around new people. It didn't really do much good for my confidence though...ah well.
My friend got an offer from a university she wants to read Computer Games Art or something at. I worked out I have enough UCAS points (some universities use points rather than grades for requirements - where grades are equal to a certain number of points) from my AS-studies alone to be accepted for that course. She also got a book (won at Awards Evening) that suggested that she has a sketchbook for designs and stuff. I'm going to take the idea, and get a new sketchbook to do some stuff in myself, since I'm doing Physics, I'm going to need a really strong portfolio to get into the design industry, should the chance occur.
